Steven Dourmashkin
As a former Founder & CEO of a consumer electronics startup, Steven has seen the challenges of sourcing and verifying electronic components firsthand. With over a decade of experience bringing technology from concept to production, he leads product, software, and operations at Chiplytics.
Stephen DiBartolomeo
Stephen brings extensive experience in deep tech venture investing and national security to lead sales, business development, and capital initiatives at Chiplytics. A former Navy Cryptologist at NSA and United States Naval Academy '16 graduate, he leverages his unique understanding of defense technology needs and investment dynamics to drive strategic growth.
Connor Dempsey, PhD
Connor is a semiconductor expert with a decade of experience in the field, ranging from developing satellite test systems at JHU APL to performing cutting edge semiconductor materials research at UC Santa Barbara. At Chiplytics, he leads engineering, quality, and R&D on next-generation counterfeit and tamper-detection technologies.
Tom Mikolyuk
Tom specializes in turning emerging technologies into real products that solve real needs, with a track record of previous translational design & engineering across surgical devices, architected materials, and accessible technology. At Chiplytics, he leads mechanical, industrial, and UX research across design, prototyping, and fabrication.

Foundation & Validation
- Signed commercial license agreement with Sandia National Laboratories
- Validated PSA system prototype performance against Sandia benchmark report

Research & Development
- Awarded Phase I STTR contract from Air Force Research Lab in partnership with the Center for Advanced Life Cycle Engineering (CALCE)
- Developed and filed patent for novel approach to manufacturing low leadtime sockets for electrically interfacing with high varieties of microelectronics
- Designed production-ready Chiplytics PSA System
Commercial Deployment
- Manufactured and shipped Chiplytics PSA Systems to national laboratories and research partners
- Awarded Phase II STTR contract to continue R&D on PSA as an authentication solution for use across DoD and DoE supply chains
- Developed prototypes and filed patent application for the Micro-Inspection Platform (MIP) to make PSA inspection method scalable
Platform Innovation
- Completed development of Version 6 of the Micro-Inspection Platform with enhanced speed, reliability, and precision to begin pilot deployments
- Awarded Air Force Contract Extension (TACFI) to advance the Micro-Inspection Platform (MIP) for use at Air Force Lifecycle Management Centers
